Hard to believe this little pumpkin is almost 2! 

One of the biggest joys and challenges has been loving this little one. Remember when she used to be so tiny? Where has the time gone! Well now she is all grown up and loving life.

We had a little scare earlier this year when Luna started dragging her back feet, having urinary incontinence and exhibiting back leg weakness. To spare you all the long story (and many of you have already heard it several times over!), she had an MRI done which does show some sort of area of concern in her spinal cord. Because of the risk of paralysis, it cannot be biopsied. So we’re just living life the Luna way… day by day! We will follow back up with the vet if she starts having any more clinical difficulties. She is still running, jumping and being her usual self.

She is our little buddy and just loves to be by our sides. It might just be because I stare at her all the time… but I swear she smiles at us 🙂

She loves fetch, and the “Find It!” and “Where’s Mommy?” games. Her favorite toy is the “ball-within-a-ball” which she gnaws on for weeks until she gets the ball out. Best. Dog. Toy. Ever. (Idea credited to her cousins Molly and Leila, whose ball she stole).

She comes to work with me at Curology and enjoys being spoiled and getting attention from everyone. Don’t be surprised if you get a lick in the face or a nudge in the butt if she likes you.
