One lovely weekend when we did not have anything better to do, we decided to make the trip to Temecula to do some wine tasting! Dave and wine… two of my favorite things!

Temecula is southern California wine country! And we are lucky enough to live about an hour away! Quite different then the Finger Lakes wine tours that we all know and love. We decided to go to Robert Renzoni Winery, where we are actually going to be attending a wedding later this spring.

We tasted lots and lots of wines 🙂 and also some delicious Robert Renzoni marinara sauce. We left there with two bottles of wine… but sadly no marinara sauce! Guess we will just have to go back… oh wait, we are!

And then we had some wood-fired pizza (yes, we had to pick the one named “Julia’s Favorite” because we love Julia!) and it was super delicious. They had a great outdoor atmosphere with live music.

Side note: I was also really excited that this place had under the counter bag hooks! All the ladies know what I’m talking about. Yes, I wear around a purse that’s bigger than me with all of my worldly possessions that I may need at any given time. Do you really want to put it on the GROUND? Well for me it’s not an issue because my purses are usually an average of $20 but it’s the principle! Thank you Robert Renzoni, for making this a lovely experience for me, Dave and my purse!

So happy that we got to do some wine country together! Looking forward to many more Temecula trips. And many more glasses of wine with Dave 🙂
