Rockville? It’s in Maryland.  When plans initially started forming for the road trip, Rockville was a must do on my list – I wanted to see my friend’s baby. And anyone that knows Laura knows I didn’t have a tough time convincing her this was going to be one of our stops.

One of my best friends from high school, Brandon, lives here with his wife(Davida) and newborn son Samuel. Okay, so he’s almost 5 months (at the time of this visit) and cuter then ever.

 

Rockville also happens to be pretty close to Washington D.C. Fortunately, my brother and his now wife Heather were awesome and came up to Rockville. With only a few days notice, they came out and met us as we began our new adventure. So glad we got to see them.

I was also able to meet up and introduce Laura to my friend Jeff that I lived with in Carlsbad, California for a couple years. Jeff now has a place in D.C. and came up to visit as well. We all went out for a beer and of course, 3 drinks later, we called it a night.

We both had an awesome time here with friends and family. Thank you Thank you Brandon and Davida for hosting us as we passed through.
