Umm. I still can’t believe this happened…

So, I turned 30 this year. Yikes. Decided to LIVE IT UP and splurge on 3rd row and Meet & Greet tickets for the Goo Goo Dolls Long Way Home Tour in San Diego.

I know most people don’t understand why I love Goo Goo. The only person who probably understands this is Emily (YOU GET ME <3). But I’ve gone to at least one Goo Goo show per year for the last 7 years or so. It’s weird. I get it. But they have so many good songs! (And you may have heard their new jam on the BMW commercial recently.) 

The Meet & Greet was super quick. We were shuttled in and out, and the only thing I could think to do in the moment was yell ‘BUFFALO!’ in their faces. Somehow to make them understand I was from upstate? I don’t know.

We sat 3rd row for the show, and I did not stop moving the entire time (Crystal and Jasmin, who were in a section up above, can vouch for this!). Best. Night. Ever.

While Dave is a really great partner in all aspects of life, I was really missing my Emily for this show. We would’ve had such a blast together with this experience! Meet & Greet 2018… Emily and I are coming for you!
