Woohoo! The save the dates are (hopefully) in the mail by now, and you can read more details about the wedding and engagement (and RSVP) here!

It was a hard decision about where to have the wedding, as we have family and friends on both coasts (and now overseas)! But ultimately, we decided to take it back to our upstate NY roots to celebrate our marriage.

We had some engagement photos on Carlsbad State Beach outside of our place by the lovely and talented Rhodora Espiritu Photography, and one of my favorites is this one:

If you can remember way back when in the blog when we started my move across the country, “Make It Happen” is our motto. It’s something that we tell still each other when the other needs a little boost, it is a sign that hangs in our bathroom while we’re getting ready for the day, and ultimately it reminds us of our roots as a couple and how far we’ve come to
